A: Kiko considers herself half American and half Korean. Her mother’s family is Zainichi Korean (please check the front page of this site). This explains why she doesn’t know Korean, but Japanese. Her mother was born and raised in Japan. Kiko was born in America. She moved to Japan as a child and has resided there since.

A: Yes, they are sisters. Kiko is older than Yuka by 4 years and 5 days.
